Meet Jenifer, a proud first-generation Chinese-Vietnamese American, owner, creative director, and lead floral designer for Peonies and Petals, a floral studio based in sunny Southern California, a mile away from the Happiest Place on Earth.  She loves combining her passion for flowers, food, teaching, and travel, designing romantic, thoughtful, purposeful florals for weddings and events.

Her strong attention to detail in florals and decor is described as organic, whimsical, romantic, artful, and garden floral design. Jenifer’s educational background was in early childhood development. For a few years, Jenifer also worked with students with special needs. She now loves combining her two passions: teaching and florals. 

Jenifer didn’t plan on being a florist; she started working for a big floral company in 2006 while she was teaching, and it blossomed even more from then. Learning from the best in the industry, she gained so much perspective by learning from other big floral companies and started implementing them into her business. She worked as a florist and teacher for over 10 years combined, and then in 2016, she fully committed herself to being a full-time florist. She has never been happier. She finally found her joy and happiness working with florals.
